Žďársko

Žďár nad Sázavou is a district town at the border of Czech and Moravia situated in beautiful landscape of Českomoravská vrchovina. It is to be found in the middle of the national preserve Žďárské vrchy. The dominant landmark of the town is Pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk at Zelená hora. The church is an architectonicly unique monument enlisted in UNESCO world historical heritage since December 1994. More info coming.
